A facility transformed from a former nickel plating factory, we wanted to keep the original character of the old industrial building, yet incorporate modern trends. Existing brick and metal panel facade were salvage where possible, combined with interior wood finishes in the tasting room walls and furniture designed by local artist Flags Over Wisconsin. The adaptive reuse of barn wood earned this project “Most Innovative Green Solution” at the 2018 In Business Commercial Design Awards.
